I’ve never been the type of girl to not have standards. In fact, I have really high standards. For years, I always watched my friends get all the guys and I never understood why I didn’t. But now I see that patience is such a virtue, because my love is genuine and my boyfriend doesn’t just “meet my standards”, he does that and so much more. It’s not quantity, but quality. It’s not about having someone by your side every moment, but when you do have someone by your side, it’s real and it’s true. So don’t sell yourself short. Ever.
